Zaiqa Box was born out of love and care. The idea started when we would cook for my aunty, who was unable to cook for herself. Everyone in our family would take turns bringing her meals because she lived alone and didn’t have many good options for fresh, homely food.

That’s when it hit us. My aunty wasn’t the only one. So many elderly people don’t have easy access to good, homely food. And it’s not just elders; busy families, students, and anyone missing that ghar ka zaiqa (taste of home) often struggle to find something that truly feels like comfort food.
